Marcus grips his head which hurts like he had been hit with a shovel. "uhn dammit that is painful" he groans.

"sorry about that" a feminine voice says in his head.

Marcus looks up and around but realizes quickly it had to be the creature.... but why was her voice in his head?

"was...was that you?" Marcus asks

"yes, mind read for words" the voice says as the creature sits on the branch to relax "sorry it hurt, not something I do often, only in emergencies"

"so.... how are you... are you a telepath?" Marcus asks to which the creature nods

"yes I believe that is what you call it, it is how my people communicate" she explains "my name is Sakara Tolos, your mind showed me you are Marcus Fin I apologize again for intrusion on your mind, only way to talk is to learn how you talk" she says rubbing her head.
