Of course, this was a trap, because Mommy Dearest had no need for a sidekick.

After having Little Helper under her hypnotic spell, she casts another hypnotic wave through a small store that causes everyone to forget what happened for five minutes. During that time, Mommy Dearest steals a basket, places Kate inside, wearing only her Little Helper mask and leaves without people noticing she was there at all.

Recklessly swinging the basket by the handle, Mommy Dearest walks up to a seedy looking building in a dark alley. After knocking in a specific way a hatch on the door opened and a deep voice simply says “Enter.” The door opened and Mommy Dearest walked through before the door shut, locking back up.

Inside, the area was like your typical bar. Drunken men laugh as they brag about who they killed or robbed, gamblers counting their winnings and women seducing those dumb enough to lose everything. Walking through a haze of smoke, Mommy Dearest is greeted in a back room by five people. Unlike the people in the bar, these five were theatrically dressed super villains.

Mommy Dearest brought everyone’s attention to the basket the she now places on the center table and claps twice.

Little Helper stirs awake groaning peacefully, that is until she sees all of her archenemy’s staring down at her infantile body.
