This man was **** to protect his fellow monks, and his God. However, with no weapon in his hands, Tjorvi deemed him to be utterly harmless. He lowered his axe and was about to tell some of the other Norsemen to just capture him - he was a large man, maybe he'd make for a good thrall. Maybe he was important and they could get quite some money out of him...

Before he could process any of those thoughts, however, Tjorvi could feel himself getting worked down to the ground. He grunted out as the large monk had just jumped him all of the sudden, and a rough punch arrived right in the Viking's face. With no other choice, it didn't take long for Tjorvi's axe to get rid of the nuisance. Laughter was filling up the courtyard as he stood up, looking down at the monk. Lifeless, blood slowly sipping down...

Unlike their heroic comrade, the rest of the monks seemed to be gone. They must've fled into the woods. Perhaps they would just wait out the attack, or perhaps they would keep going until they stumbled onto some help. Either way, the monastery seemed small so there couldn't be too much of them. And there wasn't too much inside either other than some silver relics, some materials, and quite some wine in the cellar. Everything remotely useful was taken, but it wasn't much. Not enough to return to Norway, and Bjor didn't seem to mad about it. Why would they want to get lucky during their first raid, when there was so much more to explore in these lands? So much more to explore..
