Southeast

You decide to head upwards, turning southeast.

Very shortly you began to hear a strange sound - like a slurping, slicking, sometimes plopping sound. You must be near a nest of the beasts!

As the ground levelled out, you figured you must be in a large space - the light of your torch revealled little before it faded at the edges of the dark. The sounds were very loud here, you must be in the middle of the nest!

You stand still for a bit... nothing happens. Perhaps the tentacles couldn't actually see? You decide the only way to figure out where you are, and if Elizabeth happened to be there, was to increase the light.

You hold back a retch that almost escaped your mouth.

All around you, sitting on the slick ground against the walls, were about fifty people. Most seemed to have been (you assume) seeded by the creatures - their stomachs looked as if nine months pregnant with quadruplets, but every inch of skin showed small bumps pushed from the inside their stomachs.

As you looked closer it seemed that the creatures depravity didn't stop at impregnating the womb. Several women, perhaps those who already sported large breasts, must have been seeded through their nipples. As you looked around you noticed that from the middle of the ceiling hung several pale white tentacles of various thickness. Three began to slowly move towards the wall - a young girl was passed out. The first lunged for you face and was cut through by your dagger for its trouble. As you refocused you saw several more moving swiftly toward you from all sides!

As this happens you notice another exit across from you - it looked like it went deep into the lair but you couldn't be sure - either way, you need to figure out what to do now!
