Chapter 2 by Geraldo Geraldo

What gender are you?

Sorceress

Girl."

"Yes, yes alright. You're no fun. Let an old man have his laughs. Afterall, you're soon to be leaving, and I wouldn't want you to forget your mentor or all that he tought the ungrateful young sorceress that now is too old for games." He replied with a sigh, turning his back.

"Your not fooling me after all this time, you old highwayman." you laugh.

"Perhaps I've taught you too much," he laughs, turning back to face you, his smile visible through his wizardly beard "have some breakfast, see the town, come back and say goodbye and I'll see you off."

You nod, shooing him out of your room so that you can get changed into your adventuring clothes. Today will be the first day in your journey to become a licensed practitioner in the art of magic. At the king's palace, you will register and then choose a specialty in the wizarding college where you can join up with a Guild or simply become a freelance mage, like Garzet.
The way is dangerous, though, as you were not born into one of the closer cities, but you can make it there with all of your training, which is rather advanced, as the only official in town is the tax collector, who is suurprisingly nice and does not bother with upholding the magical education standards but instead took from some of the local tax-revenue to help pay for your trip and education; you are the pride of the town, after all.
You have innate magical ability, the only one born here that way; Garzet only moved here a few years before you were born, after other various 'gigs,' as he called them. Before you head out, what will you wear?

What will you wear?
