Something quick, burgers it is

I look around the cooler, we didn't pack much food, and I wanted to cook something that'd be quick. I finally decided on burgers. I take out 3 pre made patties and a beer, and start cooking.

I glance over at Thomas and Brooke. I can't quite make out what he's saying, but Brooke is laughing a lot at whatever is being said. I can tell from here that he's checking her out every opportunity he gets. Together they unload the two camping chairs we packed.

I was getting jealous, and angry, which made me drink faster, and before I knew it, I was already on beer 2, and I was opening number 3 as the burgers were finishing cooking.

"Honey, we didn't bring enough chairs" Brooke said after the burgers were done. "Don't worry, you can sit in my lap" Thomas said to her. She giggled and playfully pushed him.

'What the fuck' I thought, 'she's flirting with him' that made me more jealous, and angry.
