Something about the Statue

Morning comes and Sister Anne stretches before heading to the communal showers. The Sisters as always talk about their mundane chores and Sister Anne finishes up. Going back to her room Sister Anne gets changed and heads out to do her chores. Today Sister Anne was dusting in the corridor that she was in the night before. As she gets to the one statue that seemed to have bothered her the night before, she gets to see it in the daylight. Looking at it a bit more closely Sister Anne notice something a bit strange.

The statue's left hand is up against its chest, palm flat but its right hand seems to be under its robes. In fact, as she follows the right arm it seems as though it would stop right where the privates would be.

Sister Anne stares at it, thinking how strange it is for a statute like that to be in a place like this. But as she stared thinking about it, she starts to see it moving in that spot. Naturally this causes Sister Anne to jump back taking her eyes off of it in the process. When she looked back however the statue seemed solid once more. Using the duster, Sister Anne pokes at it to be sure. The statue was indeed solid as it should be. This got her to thinking that perhaps she was just focusing too hard and with that goes about her business. The rest of her day goes as normal.

After dinner Sister Anne retires to her room as normal to study her bible where once again, after a few hours, she decides to take a break and go for a walk. Deciding once again to go down the corridor with the statue she stops at it to look at it. Sister Anne, feeling a bit brave, puts her hand on the right arm of the statue and as expected it was solid to the touch. Feeling that is was solid caused Sister Anne to be even braver and touch the arm all the way down at the private part where the hand is. However, as she got to that spot it was not hard like the arm. In fact the cloth that should have been stone felt more like cotton and something behind the cloth was getting hard.
