Something Plastic?

Emma fumbled with the object but couldn't make out what it was. It almost felt like ping pong balls, or something like that, only smaller and harder.

She pulled the object out from under the mattress and looked at it. A fair length of thick string with multiple pink, plastic balls. "Damn, Jenny's a freak."
