Some things are impossible

As she stared at the descending robots, for the first time Kim felt true doubt creep in. She had no idea how to defeat these things, they had no weakness that she could find to exploit. An arm shot out, which Kim could barely dodge in time. Then another, and another. They kept her pinned in the corner, getting cautiously closer and closer with each thrust while she had less and less room to maneuver.

It didn’t take long before one of the mechanical arms could grab hold of the teen. The first grabbed her by an ankle as she was distracted by a different arm. This one lifted Kim helplessly in the air, dangling her upside down while the other robots took advantage to grab her as well.

Kim yelled and struggled as she was soon stretched between two of the upgraded bots. One had her by the wrists, spread far apart, while the other did the same to her ankles. No matter how the heroine struggled, they didn’t budge an inch.
