Time to move in
So Move It
Dropping the box you were carrying on the kitchen floor, you wipe off your sweat before you arch your back, trying to get rid of the stiffness.
“Be careful with that, there could be plates in there” You hear someone say.
Looking behind, you see your mom coming up to you from the living room. The bangs of her shoulder-length brunette her sticks to the tanned skin of her forehead which is glistening with sweat. Her cyan eyes slanted at you as she walks up to you.
You sit on the box controlling your heavy breaths “Sorry mom, but even I’m getting a little winded” you say.
“Because of this much?” She places her box on the counter, then turning to you with an impish grin “And that’s why I said you should get out more” she says.
‘Ah shit here we go again’
You arch your eyebrow “And I don’t?” You say.
She chuckles wryly “Emphasis on more. Don’t just go because it suddenly becomes necessary. ”
“Not everyone is a Nature-boy” you say.
“And not everyone is a gym rat so I’m not sending you to the gym.” She retorts. “Though I honestly don’t understand how you don’t want these babies on ya you know” she says as she starts flexing the tanned mass of meat in her biceps.
Though once scan through her, and even you must admit she does well for herself. The arms peeking from the loose plain teal crop-top and her thighs now covered by her black high-rise shorts are all as flat as the tummy that shows itself. Smooth, tone muscle, your dream body type.
‘Maybe I could show off my body if there was something to show. Nah too lazy’
You get up from the box, shaking away your thoughts, “Yeah yeah moral of the story’s get out more” You look to your Mom “So why don’t we go get those boxes?”
You walk ahead before she gets to answer, getting past the kitchen and living room to the front hallway before you hear your mother following behind you.
Outside, the sun has clicked out for the day and it seems the moon still has a couple days off. On your way to the U-Haul, you cross paths with your dad, who’s trolleying the fridge.
“So?~” he says?
“What?”
“Speaking terms again. That’s a start.”
“Is that so?”
“You tell me” he replies.
“Am I not allowed to speak to my father?”
“Is that so?” Now he asks.
“Even Confucius has to kowtow to his father”
Your dad looks away as he chuckles lightly “As expected of this son of mine” he whispers. He turns back to you, “So?”
You look back to your new home. "Not bad" you say. Admittedly you expected worse.
He giggles at your response. "That might as well be a perfect score if we follow the doctrines of Tsun you know?" he says.
There are benefits and demerits to having a weeb as a father.
Trying to change the topic "Where are the annoyances?" you ask.
Catching the hint your dad points to the back of the KIA "Sleeping like the little Angel disguised demons they are." he says "Though i don't know how i feel about how you address your siblings"
"You're one to talk" you retort.
"I brought those fiends to this world so i will excerise my rights." he retorts back.
You hear footsteps coming closer "Are you talking about my little angels?" Your mom asks with the purest smile filled with the most vile of intensions.
Cold sweat fills your back and goosebumps storm your skin. You immediately flee the scene, leaving your dad and his visibly trembling fingers to the mercy of your mom.
Now it’s
