Slow and steady

The heat from the flames is starting to seriously bother you, but you do your best to ignore it. In this situation a hasty mistake could be costly.

You keep watching the flames, hoping to spot a pattern in their movements, but if there is one it is too complicated for you to discover. Seeing no other choice you sigh, choose one of the doors at random, and begin slowly moving towards it.

You do your best to stay away from any fast-moving flames and to not get too close to any of the larger ones. It is a slow task and you lose track of time, but eventually, after numerous close calls, you manage to reach the walls without getting burned even once.

To your surprise, but also relief, the flames appear to be avoiding the outer-most part of the room, so you are safe for now. In front of you is a door made from some sort of green stone, with a flower engraved on it. You could try it, if only to make sure it is not locked, or you could check out the other doors first.
