Sleep

You collapse onto your bed, exhausted by the day’s events. It's only been the first day of classes, but so many things have happened. You’ve learned a bunch, joined the soccer team, went to a party, and more importantly, met a bunch of hot girls that you think you have a real shot with.

As you think back to your last conversation with Darren you start to get excited again - even the girls who might be out of reach are still fuckable if you get the right grades. At that moment, you make a vow to yourself. You’re going to finish the Freshman Fifteen by the end of Burn Night, or die trying.

“It’s a done deal,” you say into the dark, an old habit from when you used to share a room with Lisa; it used to annoy her to no end.

Satisfied with that, you drift off to sleep, ready to face a new day of possibilities…
