Sleep it off

“You know what. Fine. Whatever.” He gets back into bed, shutting his laptop. “I’m going to sleep”

“Good idea.” She mumbles and when he shuts his laptop, she turns the brightness down for hers, puts it on charge and lets it run still. She shut it but not enough to turn the monitor off. She slides into bed properly.

He gets out of bed, walking to the bathroom to go before he sleeps.

She huffed a bit under her breath, but then hsed this as the perfect opportunity. She gets up and uses her phone as a flashlight, turning the speaker off so he didn’t ask questions again. She turns off the programming on her computer and fully shuts it. She slides into bed, back to him again when he comes back in.

He comes back in. “Meggin? You still awake?” He whispers.
