Sit Next to Lisa

Your sister holds a certain magnetic appeal that you can’t quite place—its like, you’ve always known that she’s been considered hot, but her red top today is just slightly transparent, and your eyes are drawn to her chest in a way that might have been a touch obvious. Crap, she’s my sister, you think to yourself. I can’t be doing that!

But Lisa pays you no attention as you grab the seat, so you turn your attention to the other girl sitting next to you. She’s a cute brunette girl with deep blue eyes, and you see her sketching around a monochrome photo in her notebook… wait, no, that’s a house that she’s drawn herself in there!

“Whoa, where’d you learn to draw like that?” you say, asking her.

“I dunno, I’ve kind of always been into it I guess,” she says, twirling her hair with a hand. She meets your eyes briefly, and then looks away. A shy one, then.

“It looks amazing,” you say. “You’ve got to teach me someday…”

“Uh, I’m Brooke,” she says, looking up from her drawing at you again. “And you’re Alex, right?”

“You got it,” you say, and you catch Lisa looking your way just then. It’s time to bring her into the loop. “Hey Lisa, what’d you think of Brooke’s art?”

Your sister looks up from her phone and glances over at Brooke’s notebook. “Meh, I’ve seen better.”

Brooke’s mouth drops open, clearly hurt, and she quickly shuts the notebook
