Sigh

Jake walked out as sighed patting his belly with his left hand, "Man, that seafood pie was great. The crab and tuna was perfectly cooked with vegie oil soaked cabbage and tasty beans."

A toot came from his back side as Tara said clamping her nose, "Oh, when are you going to stop?"

A few girls looked at Jake's shirtless body with lewd stares and licking lips. Jake then said as he began to walk to the Golden and Silver Ram Inn, "Well, I need to get my stuff."

Tara then said to Jake, "Go on ahead, I want to be away from this stink."

Deysi looked at the tower as she then heard Tara say, "So, when did you lose him?"

Deysi looked at Tara with a faint smile, "So, you guessed huh?"

Tara replied to her, "The way you made Jake glow you light the house and if it were night at the sealing you'd have lit up the neighborhood. That was no seal of a first timer."

Sighing Deysi said seeing the old memories of Onii-chan across the street, "You already know this, but the bots came here 10 years ago next month. I was in the garden at Mildred's Farm. Before I was uprooted and killed by Mildred an Order's faithful old woman a sound was heard. The first tower I had ever seen dropped just here."

Deysi continued as she hugged her bosom in pain, "A year after that I knew I needed money to live with how they had began to charge for jarred spirit energy. With no husband of my own and being rather shy I went to the tower alone. I managed to get to the sixth floor where I destroyed perhaps the scariest bot I had seen. But, what I saw after left me unprepared. I saw the lights go out as the recyclers came out. The tower decided to play a trick against us. The tower stayed closed for more than just a night. Every bot I destroyed was just recycled and rebuilt five minutes later. I was running for my life and stumbled onto an older boy."

Deysi looked at the memories of Onii-chan petting on the head a younger version of herself. She said with a soft smile, "He not only protected me, but he let me make a seal with him. My first, and he fed me through out the day. Onii-chan was so delicious, and what made him that taste was his kindness and his smarts and bravery. He kinda tasted like Otouto-kun."

The memories across the street showed a defending Onii-chan now as he shouted at Deysi from across the street making her unvolunteerily flinched, "RUN!"

Deysi continued with a tear, "The tower kept closed for three days. With no water Onii-chan nearly died like the other humans from dehydration. But, just when I thought he was going to go, the lights began to come on. I pulled on him and dragged him with all my strength. Just as I was about to pull him into the elevator on the third floor with it working thanks to the lights turning on. We were startled by a bot firing at us with it's guns."

Looking down Deysi finished her story, "I was shoved in as Onii-chan told me that if I did anything with my life. To be a big sister cause he could have used a big sister he said. The elevator closed and I had exited the tower looking for any adventurer to help. But, with the recent scare of the tower for being closed for three days no one would go in. I had gone in for days looking for him. Then weeks and those weeks became months. I felt him for a long time in my mind, but then one day I couldn't feel him any more. I never saw him again."
