Chapter 7
by CrusaderLH
What do you decide?
Show Them Who's Boss. (+3 evil)
You decide to teach these peasants a lesson. You glare at the priest. "You dare tell me what to do?! I am the son of these peasants lord! As punishment for your arrogance I will take half of all the crops!"
The priest gasps in surprise, as he clearly expected a different response from you. "But...but...my lord...if you do that many of these people will die."
You laugh, "Why should that concern me?" You jab a finger at Pietro, the priest. "If they die they only have you to blaim. Had you not said anything i would have just taken our yearly quota." You look at Derik, who is grinning wickedly. "Gather the crops."
Derik nods. "Aye m'lord."
With this you ride back to the castle. Though the peasants contemplate an uprising against your decision they meekly decide to obey your wishes. A couple hours later Derik returns with the crops.
Within weeks there are disturbing reports from the village of fights breaking out over scraps of food, and you know that soon people will die. Why should you care though? You have plenty of crops for your household, not to mention the occasional game, whereas the peasants are just that...peasants!
You gain +3 evil morality, which just so happens to be your overall morality score.
