She will pay

"Two threes." she said giving me the sweetest smile ever.

I knew to be suspicious but I had counted them as she pulled them out of her hand and she wasn't lying about the number this time. And I was pretty sure they were actually the right cards. "Three fours." I countered.

"Bull!" she called at me with a laugh. Darn, she saw me add those extra cards. But that's okay, this was all part of the plan. And since she had no clothing to gain yet, she couldn't use the double rule on me so with a smirk I reached down and pulled off a sock.

"Not cool. You can't do that." she protested.

"Why not? We never specified that the socks couldn't be counted separate."

Hissing out some air, she just shook her head and said, "Well, get ready then. You are now in for a world of hurt."

"Oh will I now?"

"Yes you will." she responded before slapping down two cards. "Two fives."

"You actually think you are getting away with that?" I said looking at her.

"Getting away with what?" she said in the sweetest voice with the most adorable innocent face I had ever seen.

"You know what. Bull." I said.

"Damn it. How did you know?" she said as she picked up the entire stack of cards and added them to her hand.

"I have all four of the fives." I said leaning back.

"Well shit." she said before she reached down and pulled off her sock. Dangling it in front of me with a smug smile, she waved it back and forth a couple of times before she tossed it to the side.

"You might as well take off the other one while you are at it."

"Why?"

"I invoke my right to forfeit the return of my clothing in favor of you losing more."

"Fine." Isabella muttered before sliding her other sock off and then throwing it at me, hitting me in the face.

Catching it, I looked at it and then at her before saying, "I will treasure it always."

"Oh you weirdo." she laughed.
