I sighed. I had been afraid of something like that. She was going to try and have me take her back, maybe be more accommodating for a little bit, then things would go back to the way they were.

I thought for a while. Kelly seemed very sincere, perhaps things could work between us after all. No, it was impossible. She would revert into her old pattern again. But then again I actually still had feelings for her. What should I do?
