The bus driver seems to me to be stopping more and more abruptly each time it does, causing me to panic and make abrupt, suspicious stops of my own each time to see if Hannah would step off at the park, or the mini-mall, but she took the bus all the way downtown, into a pretty run-down neighborhood, before she actually stopped.
