Rina immediately jumps out of the bush and wraps an arm around the mercenary's head as she brings the knife to his neck. She easily takes him out and steals the lantern for herself. She figured it might be useful for later. Since there was nothing more for her to do here, she heads back to the crash site to plan her next move.

Lost scout

A lost scout attempts to escape an unfamiliar environment

A lost scout had stowed away in a wagon only to wake up and find herself in an unknown forest. The wagon had been destroyed along with the drivers. The scout's clothes have been tattered and she had to find her way out. A few trees have been marked with symbols commonly etched by bandits and the scout, a petite and feeble woman, couldn't hope to face them, especially in her weakened state. She'll have to make various decisions in order to escape, but if she's caught then she's never reach home.
