She succeeds

Rosa clamped her hand down on the girl's mouth. She struggled, wide-eyed, but Rosa had the leverage and she was stronger. The girl finally met Rosa's eyes and recognized she was not a threat. Rosa shook her head, and the girl nodded in recognition.

Rosa gently lifted her hand and the two girls waited in silence until the group passed on.

Fucking close call there. But what did they mean a 'ping'?

When they were gone, Rosa and the girl got up and moved off in the opposite direction, trying to put some distance between them.

"Hey, my name's Tiffany. And ... um, thanks." The girl said.

"De nada. My name's Rosa. What was going on back there? How did you draw so many guys already?"

Tiffany drew a sharp intake of breath. "Right..."

Rosa stopped and wheeled around. "What...?"

Tiffany holds up her hand with her wedding ring still on it.

"Wait, you wore that out of the starting room!?!" Rosa exploded. "How could you be so stupid?!"

"I forgot, all right! I've been wearing it everywhere for so long I didn't even think it counted as clothes."

"And so now every one of those fuckers knows where you are. And of course, where I am." Rosa said.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to drag you into this."

"We all signed up for this game, knowing what could happen. Just ditch the ring and we'll figure out what to do next."

"NO!" Tiffany blurted out, clutching her hand to her chest as if Rosa was going to steal it.

"Girl, it's just a ring! There are dozens of guys coming here to gang-fuck you! Dump the ring!"

"I would rather take that then give up my ring." Tiffany says.

Good fucking God, she loves that man.

"You already helped me more than enough." Tiffany says. "I am going to try to get this back to the starting room and drop it off. I'm hoping that will be enough to get them off me. I'm kinda lost out here, can you at least point me in that direction?"

This girl has no chance unless I help her. On the other hand, she has barely any chance even if I do help her, and she could get me caught.
