She rushes head first into a ranger

Effie raced through the forest on the back of the stag, having left her brother behind with her catch of the day to reduce the weight. he could find his own way home before dark but she needed to get this dying man healed fast. She was moving so fast and was so focused that she never saw the ranger come up behind her. her stag came to a complete and sudden stop as a white aura came over it. Someone had cast a paralyzing spell. She turned and saw the ranger approach on the back of a dagger elk, a fast beast with dangerously sharp antlers. The ranger wore a Green cloak and headscarf that concealed his identity but she could tell from the markings on his cloak that he was from the same village. She hopped off her stag and walked towards him hoping to catch him before he was able to see the man slung over the back of her stag.

" I apologize about the spell but you seemed to be traveling unusually and recklessly quickly, you or your mount could have been hurt. I just wanted to make sure you were okay." The man explained.

" Of course I apologize for worrying you it's just that my father expects dinner to be ready by a certain hour and I did not wish to be late with my catch." she nervously explained. The ranger looked over her soldier and commented "Quite a large load you're carrying, what exactly did you manage to kill?" His eyes squinted trying to make out what she was carrying. Effie had to distract him quickly before he could discover what she carried.
