She loses consciousness

It was all too much for her. Her emotions, her thoughts, how her body was reacting...

The room seemed to sway back and forth. The stairs, twisted looking, suddenly began to fly towards her face. No, she realised. She was falling. She closed her eyes, and waited for the pain.

After a few moments of staring at the darkness of her eyelids, she realised something else was wrong. She hadn't felt the impact of the stairs. She opened her eyes. She was standing at the bottom of the stairs, in the ground floor lobby of her apartment building. She was still naked but for the bizarre rain jacket, but otherwise unharmed. Even the dizzy spell had passed. Amy was running down the stairs, a wide grin on her face.

"Man, those were some wicked gymnastic skills." she commented as she reached the lobby.

"I... what just happened?"

"It's like... you were falling, like you'd lost consciousness or something, but the next thing I know you were... you were..." Amy frowned in confusion. "I... I actually don't know what just happened. I'm pretty sure you just cartwheeled down the stairs, but I can't seem to remember you doing it. Isn't that strange?"

"There's a lot of strange things happening today." Val replied.

"Oh? What else do you mean?"

In response Valerie stretched her arms out, looked down at herself, then gestured at her body with her hands.

"I don't follow." Amy said.

"Just... nevermind. This is all like some crazy dream."

Amy reached out and pinched Valerie's nipple. The naked girl gave a yelp of pain.

"If you can feel that, then you're not in a dream." Amy said with a grin.

A dream... a dream... something about that whirred away in Valerie's head. She vaguely remembered a strange dream she'd had last night... something about being... impervious?

"Come on, stop lollygagging." Amy said, directing her towards the front door. "If we've been **** out of the apartment, we may as well make the most of it. Let's go grab some breakfast while we work out how to spend the day."
