She listens

"Sorry, Gale, I-I got things I need to do," Jessica manages to throw out of her mouth. She found it so hard to say that. Gale just nods and says his thanks and walks out.

Jessica is completely shocked. She acted in a manner she has NEVER acted before. Why? What was wrong with her? It was as something had control over her. She was sure enough shaken by the whole.

"Hope that doesn't happen again!" she mumbles to herself. She wonders just what is going on. She tries to ignore it and forget about and goes back to work.
