She is investigating disappearances

Justina Goldburn arrived at the entrance of a small village on the back of her white horse. Her mind wandered to three days ago.

Queen Alina had summoned Justina to her throne room. On the throne sat Queen Alina in all her glory. The queen wore a light black dress which matched her long hair. The dress had gold trimmings to show of her royal status which contrasted with her green eyes.

Justina slowly approached the throne and once close dropped to one knee, bowing her head.

With a soft smile, Alina commanded "Rise Justina"

As commanded, Justina stood up.

"Thank you, your highness" Justina said

"I have need of your service yet again, old friend. A small village on the border with...Ullaqar, people are disappearing without a trace. Tensions are still high so I need this resolved as quickly and quietly as possible. If not, Ullaqar could see this as a plot of another war" the queen explained.

It had only been two years since the war with the neighboring kingdom of Ullaqar. The country was small but had many advancements which made them a real threat. The war had lasted five long years and one casualty included the king of Attoria.

"Consider it done, my queen" Justina smiled

When the queen had a problem she always turned to her most faithful servant, as with every other time the problem would be solved swiftly and without hassle. At least that was the plan.

When Justina arrived in the small village of Stanlow she was met with a most disturbing revelation. The town seemed to be abandoned. The knight spent nearly an hour searching every room in every house for any sign of life but found none. The last house that Justina checked was clearly the head of the town's as it was the largest and most decorated. As Justina was ready to leave the house and move on her search, she noticed a book on a table next to a quill and ink. Staring from the end, Justina flipped to the front, looking for the last written page. The entry described how people had been going to a cave to the east of the town, about a hours journey and never coming back.

With her destination set, Justina set out for this cave on her horse. On her horse, it took about twenty minutes for Justina to arrive at her destination.
