She heads home

Belle decided to leave the gala as the night fell, to head home. She finished her note-taking and left the gala to plan how to infiltrate the mansion and get to the basement, which was where she was sure the jewels were being kept, given the apparent tight security.

Once she was back at home, she reviewed what she'd gathered from casing the place. It shouldn't be too hard to get in, she could use the windows she'd seen that likely led to the basement, and which were not covered by the cameras. She had found a particular place where the fence was low and there were heavy bushes. It was also not guarded, nor in sight of any camera or apparent guard positions, so it should be a perfect way to get into the property.

Belle spent a while finishing the plan to steal the jewelry, making sure she was ready. She went over it one last time. She would sneak in through the back, through the location she found where the fence was lower, and that was out of view of the security systems. She would then sneak in through the basement windows she saw, which seemed old and not wired to a security system. To do so she would take the panes off using a wrench. During her casing she had time to see the screws which held them, and measure their size. Then she could get away with the good stuff.

Belle also made up her mind to do it that very night, as the security guards would likely be exhausted after the gala, and she saw quite a few getting a bit drunk. She waited until 8, when she packed her bag with all the things she would need, such as the wrench she would need, and a flashlight, in case the basement was dark and she couldn't turn the light on, and headed off to the house. She was also taking her 'stealing clothes', which was a burglar mask and a black latex bodysuit, which she would change into later.

She parked some ways away to not be spotted, and then went around the back, to reach the place she had found. After changing into her clothes, she easily snuck in undetected, and avoided the cameras and got to the windows, not seeing any guards in the way there. She made sure she was safe before taking the wrench out of the bag and beginning to work on removing one pane. She wasn't sure what was inside, as the pane was a bit dirty and it seemed to be dark in the basement.

After some work, she managed to remove the pane and placed it on the side. With an opening, Belle nimbly entered the hole, entering the basement and landing on the floor. Turning on the flashlight, Belle looked around, and found a collection of tables and desks holding obviously expensive busts, vases and paintings. However, what interested her was the door in front of her, as she could see light coming from beyond it, and she was sure it was where her goal was. Quickly, she opened the door and stepped into the room beyond it.
