She goes for coffee

After much deliberation, Janet decides that she will meet this guy for coffee. The last year she has gotten used to the New Zealand way of doing things and on this wonderful sunny day decides to try something new.

For her it is something entirely new, she's never been on a date.

His name is Mark, he is 38 and is a software developer for a large accounting software company based in the city. He owns his own place on the southern coast and is financially secure.

Janet passes a few hours before she decides to get ready.

She finally settles on an outfit. Standing there in her plain black cotton thong and black t-shirt bra she pulls on the black tights. For a top she settles on her beige v-neck blouse and pulls on her brown knee high boots.

An hour later she is finally ready for her date, just as the taxi arrives.

As she arrives at the cafe she see's Mark waiting for her. Getting up he pulls the chair out for her and orders her a coffee.

Janet instantly likes him, he's polite, well dressed and very handsome. The photos really didn't do him justice.

Afternoon coffee turns into a walk around the waterfront which then turns into dinner and then dessert at a dessert restaurant.

Before she knew it, it was 11pm, they'd spent the last eight hours in each others company. She'd laughed most of the afternoon and can't remember the last time she'd been this happy.

"Would you like a lift home?" Mark asks her.
