She falls into the deep end

Hilda takes a step forward and is completely submerged as she plummets 10 feet down into the riverbed.

She goes to scream as she sinks to bottom, realizing too late it will do her no good.

She flails her arms (she never really did learn to swim all that well) and tries to push off the ground but her armor is too heavy and keeps her from making any progress.

Starting to panic, she remembers her sword, and begins to cut the straps on her armor, freeing her from her bejeweled prison as her armor falls off her body piece by piece.

She's getting tired, and her lungs are starting to burn from the lack of air.

When the last piece of her armor falls away, Hilda tries once more to push off from the ground. She makes some progress, but her sword is still too heavy, and acts like an anchor.

Fearing for her life she drops it and tries to escape once more.
