"Just formalities really," Daniel nonchalantly replied as he placed a stack of documents on a table. "The contest is voted on online, so I need you to sign a simple waiver to use your image."

"This seems like a lot of papers for a simple waiver," Mary countered as she cautiously eyed the large pile.

Daniel shrugged. "You know lawyers. Have to complicate even the most simple of things. Just sign, and we can get started."

Mary flipped through the first three pages scrunching her brow as she tried to get the gist of what she was signing._ Party of the first part... to interpose any counterclaims... _After a few minutes, Mary gave up her attempt and went ahead and signed her name.

Daniel picked up the newly signed contract, walked over and place it in the room safe. "Good let's get started. Mary, walk over and stand by the Joker."
