She can't open the box. She's stuck there... for now.

Caitlin fiddled with the box in her grip, having memorized the combination for the box to bring her back to her home dimension. She tried moving the various parts of the puzzle box, but the box refused to budge, as if it was not built to move that way. This was a problem.

Suddenly, the box was snatched from her hand by the Son, who gave the eldritch artifact a look.

"Hey!" she cried out.

"What even is this? This doesn't look like any language I've ever seen."

Caitlin snatched the box back, holding it close to her person.

"This is my key home!" Caitlin tried moving the pieces, but she was still struggling. "If I can... just... grrr!"

The three devils gave each other glances of confusion.

"Maybe it needs a new pair of batteries," the Son said sarcastically.

"Maybe..." Caitlin wondered.

The box is a powerful artifact that draws on arcane powers. The atmosphere in which the box is in - be it divine, fallen or of an earthly plane - usually charges the box.

"If I really did overstep the limits of the box and ending up in a different multiverse entirely, then maybe the box is just out of juice. In the meantime, I can't go anywhere."

"Well at any rate, you can't go home, but you can't stay here," said the Son sardonically.

"Well I can't leave on my own, so one of you is going to have to take me if I can't stay."

Again, the three devils exchanged looks.
