She call’s Spider-Man

Sue turns her attention to the tv to see J Jonah Jameson talking about Spider-Man being a menace.

'oh great just what I need another Spider-Man rant'

Sue thinks to about it for a few seconds. 'Hmm maybe Peter would be a good person to call' she thought to herself.

She then picked up her phone and called Peter.

"Hi Sue, what's up?"

"hey Peter can we talk in person? Me and Reed got into a fight. I would like to be with a friend right now."

"Yeah, sure. I'll be right over."

"actually I was thinking I could come over to your place."

"That sounds great. I'll see you soon."

Sue hung up the phone and went to get ready. She put on a cute dress and did her hair and makeup. She then grabbed her purse and left.

A few minutes later, she was at Peter's apartment. She knocked on the door and he answered.

"Hey Sue, come on in."

Sue's smile fades as she sees bruised face. "Oh Peter. What happened?"

"I ran into Rhino and Sandman the other day. they got a couple lucky hits in but I stopped and now there in Blackgate ."

"let's go inside so I can take a look at that. You might need stitches. And before you say anything I'm not taking no for a answer."

Sue walked inside and Peter led her to the couch. She sat down and Peter sat next to her.

"So what happened with you and Reed?"

"He was being a jerk and I just wanted to get away from him. I don't know why I'm even still with him."

"I'm sorry to hear that. You deserve better than that."

"Thanks, Peter. It just sucks because I really do love him."

"I know. But sometimes people change and they're not the same person you fell in love with."

Sue nodded her head in agreement. She then looked at Peter and said, "I'm glad I called you. You're a really good friend."

"I'm always here for you, Sue. You know that."

Sue smiled and said, "I know. Thanks."

Sue leaned over and kissed Peter on the cheek. As she pulled away, she saw the look of surprise on his face.

"I'm sorry, Peter. I didn't mean to-"

"No, it's okay. I just wasn't expecting it."

"I know. I'm sorry."

"Don't be. I liked it."

Sue smiled and said, "I did too."

Sue and Peter sat there for a few moments, just looking at each other. They then leaned in and kissed each other. As they kissed, they forgot about all their troubles and just enjoyed each other's company.
