She Wins

Amy takes a firm stance and thinks. Hex is slowly approaching her, swirling her hands, building her power. Boon was standing back watching, waiting to back his sister up if things begin to go against her. Taking a chance Amy inhales a deep breath, building the fire in her chest. She rushes Hex still holding her breath, only making it a few feet before purple light flows from Hex's hands, the sidewalk beneath Amy's feet suddenly crumbled, sending Amy tumbling. Amy rolls forward struggling to hold her breath as her back hits the hard concrete. Springing to her feet Amy launched a torrent of fire past Hex, into Boon. The male twin is engulfed in flames, letting out a scream, sending up a beacon of gold light into the sky.

Hex stares at her brother in horror. Taking advantage of her distraction Amy delivers a quick blow to the back of her head, dropping the villain instantly. A heavy, sudden downpour has started centered around Boon. He's collapsed to his knees, his skin boiled and blistered over but still alive.
