She Looks but Doesn't Enter

Mary started to walk into the Artist Alley. No, I should wait on Greg. Mary's sudden stop caused her to raise up on the balls of her feet to maintain her balance. Why am I waiting on... Mary paused her line of thinking as she contemplated her relationship status with Greg. What exactly was he to her? Friend, boyfriend, lover? Mary shook her head putting off the question of her place with Greg for later.

Mary leaned on the wall and admired the art from afar. I wish I were half as talented as those people. The best I could ever draw was some horribly misshapen stick figures, but these artists are on a whole different level.

Mary spied a stall that had some adorable Love Live prints. I nearly cosplayed as Maki. What I wouldn't give to take home one of those prints.

“See something you like?” Asked a familiar voice. Mary turned around to find that Greg had returned. He pressed his body close to hers and peered over Mary's shoulder. “Love Live. You know you’d look very... what's the word? Oh yes, Kawaii dressed as Maki.”

Mary once again took Greg's hand in hers and pulled it to her chest. “I’ve always wanted to. Alas, I'm afraid sewing something that elaborate is beyond my capabilities. Although I suppose I could just go with her school outfit.”

Greg leaned down placing his face cheek to cheek with Mary's before whispering, “I think you’d make a very sexy schoolgirl.”

Mary blushed at the thought of modeling such a tantalizing outfit for Greg. Until last night, the most sexual thing she had ever done was a make out sessions she had had with Wayne Jones, the captain of the high school chess team. If you could call it a make-out session. Wayne had more ate her lips than kissed them. There are definitely advantages to older men. More manners, more experience, and more money.

Mary’s burgeoning fantasy of a naughty schoolgirl being sent to the principal's office for some well-deserved discipline was interrupted when her stomach growled. In all her excitement to get going this morning, she had forgotten to eat.

"I could really go for some food right now," Mary said as she lifted her head to look into Greg's gorgeous green eyes. Mary enjoyed the sensation of seamlessly falling into the role of new girlfriend.

“Lunch does sound good. Anything particular that you want?" asked Greg.

“You pick,” said Mary as she spun around in Greg's arms and gave him a radiant smile.

Greg returned the smile with a broad grin of his own the years seeming to vanish from his face. “We’ll go to my favorite sit-down place. That way we can spend some more time together. Really get to know each other.”

“I’d like that,” Mary said forgetting the panels she had lined up to attend.

“Let’s go,” Greg replied.
