Chapter 9
by reaper13
What does Sister Anne tell Sister Regina?
She’s fine
“Uhm, yeah.” Sister Anne says. “I was just, trying to find a new mirror. You know, to replace the one that got damaged.”
“Looks like you found one.” Sister Regina says and picks up the mirror Sister Anne had nearly lost herself in.
“Not as ornate as the previous one, but it’ll do.” Sister Regina says as she studies the new mirror. “I’ll go set it up, why don’t you start with your chores.”
With that Sister Regina left.
When her fellow sister is out of the storage room, Sister Anne takes a deep breath, places both her hands onto her face and breathes out deeply. She thought that breaking the possessed mirror would end it. But apparently there is another. How is she going to get rid of that one? She can’t exactly break two mirrors in a row, that would draw too much attention. Maybe it is best to follow Sister Regina’s advice and do her chores. Perhaps the answer will come to her in time.
When night falls once more, Sister is in her room. The holy book lies open in front of her, but she’s not studying. How can she? A demon presence has infiltrated the convent and her only idea to purify it from this evil has clearly failed. All day long she has thought about another solution to the problem, but could not find one. What is she to do?
Should she go for another evening walk to clear her mind?
