She'll try

Hilda spends a restless night in her bed, tossing and turning and awakes the next morning bleary-eyed and cranky.

She quickly scarfs down her breakfast, dons her second-best (technically her best now) set of armor, and sets back out to confront the thieves who so thoroughly humiliated her the day before.

As she trudges along the dirt road, her mind starts to wander as she daydreams about what she'll do to them. She smiles to herself as she thinks of all the humiliating things she would make them do.

She giggles at a particularly naughty idea she got from one of her romance novels, which unfortunately for Hilda, means the thieves can hear her coming as she walks right into them a second time.

"Back again?" The drow chuckles.

Hilda gasps in surprise as she's brought back to the real world. She desperately fumbles with her weapon as her heart pounds in her chest and she starts to hyperventilate.
