The small minivan sounded not great as Shailene stirred it up the winding road. "Are we overloaded," Saoirse Ronan, who sat on the codriver seat, asked her and gave the dashboard in front of Shailene a close look?

"We shouldn't," Shailene said. "Nobody has much luggage and the car is designed for nine people max and we are only six."

"True, but it sounds like it will explode in a second," the Irish actress said. "Is it still far?"

"We should be there soon," Shailene said and watched their other guests in the back mirror. in the middle of the car, Sophie Turner was having a nap while her best friend Maisie was taking pictures of the landscape. In the back of the car, Jennifer Lawrence was reading a book and Dakota Fanning seemed to play a bit on her phone.

"You still having a reception, Dakota?" Shailene asked into the back.

"Lost it shortly after we left the highway," Dakota said from the back. "Not that I need it, but you said the lake has reception?"

"Not great but it is good enough for a call. And the house has wifi."

The blonde nodded and turned her phone off. "Nice mountains," she said and opened the window next to her a bit. "And the air is so fresh."

"And the lake warm enough to swim in it?" Maisie asked briefly after.

"It is," Shailene said. "Didn't believe it either the first time I was here. But it keeps its temperature for a good while before it cools off in late fall." She drove the car around another set of turns. A few weeks ago all six had met at an event and Shailene had told the others about Lake Crystal. Surprisingly all of them had some free weeks in the late summer and so Shailene organized a nice mansion right at the lake for them to stay for the next two weeks.

"There we are," she said as they finally reached the top of the pass and the view towards the lake opened up. Saoirse gasped next to Shailene, who stopped for a second, so each of her friends could get a good look. Maisie gave Sophie a gentle bump and woke her friend up, so she would not miss the view.

"Wow, this looks gorgeous," Jennifer said from the back of the van. "And is that a cable car over there? I have to use it at some point during our stay."

"Where is our house," Sophie asked. "Near that town down there?"

"That's Lake Crystal," Shailene said. "The town is named after the lake. Our house is located not too far from the town. Wouldn't be too far to walk, but there is also a bus line which operates well into the night, so we can use that too.

"Great," Sophie said. "Hope the town allows us to party a bit too."

"It does," Shailene said and drove off again, stirring the car down the street towards the lake. A couple of minutes later they finally reached the town and as Shailene drove through the main street slowly, the other girls gasped.

"Why ... why is everyone naked," Dakota finally asked from the back.

"Oh ... I told you ... didn't I?" Shailene asked slightly confused. She watched how all five of her guests looked at her with super confused looks. "Oh ... I did not ... I think," she stammered for a second. "You have to know, the people of Lake Crystal have a very different approach to human nudity."

"You want to say the whole valley, including the town, is a nudist place?" Jennifer asked speechlessly.

"No worry, girls," Shailene said. "Clothes are always allowed if you feel better with it. But there had been never any paparazzi in Lake Crystal before. And nobody will make a big deal about us being actresses. I bet for the most people we are just a group of young ladies."

The others nodded, although Shailene felt that they weren't that convinced about it.

They stopped at an intersection in town and the five passengers seemed to avoid looking at the naked guys, which were walking by casually. "Wow, that cock," Dakota said as the man disappeared slowly in the back window.
