Second Period: AP Ancient World History

Your teacher in this class is Miss Tollin. She is wearing Khaki Pants, a white dress shirt, and a tie with cats chasing dogs on it. She is a more laid back teacher and like to mess around a little being on 29 years old. Today you are learning about how the world transferred from a hunter gather-society, where there was no patriarchy or matriarchy, to a society that lived in cities that matriarchies were in. Ms. Tollin starts up her powerpoint and starts with "so class today we will be learning the transfer of society from Paleolithic hunter gathers to Neolithic city states."

You more or less doze off in the class but manage to gather the basic summery of. "When cities formed, Women took control as they felt more important because they gave birth to children. So Women went out and did all the hard work of hunting and tending to the crops while the men stayed at home with the children."

The Bell rings and you move to Break, then go to Math, then Spanish and finally lunch

(this chapter is more or less exposition)
