Search the vehicle

“I’m going to have to search your vehicle, Ms. Johnson,” the officer said. “Please make sure your car is in park and step out of the vehicle, leave your keys in the ignition.”

Alexa gulped but did as she was asked. The officer then began looking thoroughly through the vehicle. Alexa noticed she had another female partner who stepped out of the police cruiser and was watching Alexa’s movements. The officer popped the trunk open and began searching through Alexa’s luggage when she spotted a hidden compartment in the car. “What’s in there?” The officer asked.

“N-nothing,” Alexa said.

The officer looked at Alexa as she was shaking in fear. “Are you sure there’s nothing in there? Not a single thing?”

Alexa shook her head, praying they wouldn’t open it.
