Screw Amazement! Your Terrified, Get The Hell Out Of There!

As the beast lowers itself down on the man, you can only down one thing: run. Without a second thought, you turn around and run as fast as you possibly can.

Whilst you flee in terror, you hope that the monster's current victim will be enough to keep it from noticing you. You hope wrong. You hear it barking behind you, expecting it to give chase... but the barks aren't getting closer. You realize that the thing isn't going to give chase and feel safe as long as you can put some distance between it and yourself. Then you realize that the thing doesn't have to give chase. Apparently, it has projectiles.

As you continue to run, not daring to look back, you hear a SPLAT as you feel a chunk of latex wrap itself around your right hand. You're too scared for this to stop you, and instead only start running faster. There's a second SPLAT as another chunk of the stuff hits your tailbone, this time putting you a little off-balance, but you quickly regain your footing and start sprinting as fast as humanly possible.

It's at this point that you hear a third SPLAT, followed by hearing nothing at all as latex coats your head like a hood, splattering over your ears and your hair and covering them completely. Still, you keep running, and eventually, the barrage seems to stop.
