Science world (New Orion)

You've seen enough movies where the hero of the story accidentally finds himself in a magical world with magic or special powers. This hero would then face many dangers, fight them and become stronger in the process and ultimately save the world. Hooray.

But these are movies. Fiction. Fantasy.

This was reality. Just the thought of facing a real dragon or other mythical creature made you shudder. You don't want to face a Voldemort 2.0 either. The "Science world" sounded better. Science is based on common sense, and where common sense is, people are in their right minds, aren't they? No evil creatures, nothing that wants to kill you or eat you. Sounds perfect.

"Then I would like to enter the world of science, please". You say this with confidence, after all, you've carefully thought it over.

"As you wish. Initiate launch sequence."

For a brief moment, time seemed to stand still. You spoke, but you could no longer hear your own voice. You clapped your hands, but you couldn't hear that either. The sound in the room was no longer transmitted. The air got that stringy taste you get when you take off in an airplane. The only thing you could hear was the voice of the system in your head.

"Destination locked in. Starting transmission. 60%, 85%, 95%, 100%. Transmission complete. Have a nice stay Sandra."
