Chapter 13 by thestarwarrior thestarwarrior

Does Laoda die this day?

Saved by a barbarian woman and three handsome men.

You can feel the blood rushing to your cheeks though you can’t tell if it is more because you are pissed-off, or from embarrassment. Regardless of which, you now have to fight a strong urge to punch the lovely woman in her delicate jaw. The three things stopping you is **** to mess up such a lovely face, the fear of drawing even more attention to you, and the knowledge that your guards are ready to restrain you in front of all these military commanders and diplomats you are here to impress.

As you scowl at the trembling beauty, you struggle to think of something to say that would get your point across, but at the same time not risk shouting at her and drawing the eyes of the crowd. However, before you can find the words to chastise your chief representative here at the United Army's camp a familiar voice rings in your ear, one that sent a shiver down your spine.

“Little Xira, is that you, baby!?”

Your face pales at the raucous voice from the past. “Oh fucking Zeus,” you curse to yourself before turning to face your soon-to-be assailant. Before your guards can react, a bubbly middle-aged woman throws her beefy arms around you and drags your face into the warm cavern between her barely covered melon-sized mounds.

“Xira! I haven’t seen you since you were all knees and elbows! Damn girl, you sure filled out in all the right places. How have you been, love?” The voice is Resia's, the wife of the current governor of Deni, and a tall mountain of a Celtic woman. Her fair skin has a few more wrinkles around her eyes, the fiery red hair is now streaked with silver, but she still wears a scandalously low-cut gown trimmed with the finest of furs and she has to be as strong (if not stronger) than your most experienced and battle-hardened Sisters.

As the energetic women smothers you into her fleshy bust, you are understandably having mixed feeling about the embrace. On one hand there is a pair of lovely Celtic breasts, warm and smooth as satin being pressed against your face but on the other hand, there is a pair of Celtic breasts being pressed against your face in a tent full of diplomats you are hoping to impress. Even your highly disciplined guards are snickering at you as the woman engulfs you in her strong arms and ample bosom.

After what feels like an eternity Resia releases you from her embrace and places her hands on your shoulder plates. “My have you grown; so strong and beautiful,” she laughs with a huge smile on her lips, “no wonder half the men in the room want to get under this shiny armor of yours.”

Your blush only brightens and a shiver climbs up your spine at her assessment of just how much male attention you are going to be pestered by, “It’s…good to see you to Resia,” you say trying to **** a smile to your lips.

By now Laoda has composed herself after your near explosion and she steps between you and Resia. “I see that you’ve finally found time to step away from the bargaining table,” she smiles shaking Resia’s firm hand with her dainty one, only to be hugged by the boisterous barbarian.

“Laoda, my friend! How have you been?” You have trouble hiding your grin as you see the normally poised diplomat being swallowed up by Resia. “Still avoiding the amazon curse like the plague, I see,” she guffaws, finally letting Laoda push back from her abundant chest.

“Sorry dear, but I find my work is easier when the men at the negotiation table are fawning over sweet little old me.” Laoda replies quietly, “Besides, the blessings of Sisterhood does more than restore one's youth and I have far too many fond memories that I would rather not give up.” You are a little surprised that Laoda is this open with Resia here in the crowded tent, but before you can wonder about how much the barbarian queen already knows about your ways Laoda's voice projects clearly for all to hear. “Again, on behalf of my queen, I wish to apologize for not being able to protect your trade lanes for the past year, but as you can see, her fleet and countrywomen are rapidly recovering.”

“So, I’ve heard,” Resia turns to you with a formal bow this time, “I imagine that things haven’t been easy for you either, Xira. I’m sorry about your mother. She and I were very close.”

You crossed your arms and fumed a little after hearing this. Although it is more sincere than the, “I’ve heard that she was a great warrior,” line, you still didn’t like being reminded that your mother was dead, especially with her killers being less than a mile away.

As you turn away you suddenly realize that Resia hasn’t come alone; by her side are three handsome young men. One is a muscular warrior with short, dark hair, golden armor, and a red sash across his chest. Probably one of the Lord Marshall’s aide-de-camp judging by his colors. The much shorter man by his side could be a Rider with his slender build and light armor. His luxurious long dark hair is as fine as many courtesan's, and a charming smile on his lips which makes your heart flutter in your chest. The last of the youths isn’t a warrior but a young diplomat perhaps. He still had some muscle to him and had a handsome face with a full head of golden curls, but you doubt that he could hold is own in a fight. As he grins and bows formally, you can't shake the notion that there is something familiar about him.

By now Resia has noticed your interest in the trio and lets out a soft giggle. “Oh, I’m sorry, I almost forgot. Xira, allow me to introduces Alex Matis. He is a newly commissioned war captain and one of the best warriors in Raxius’ army.”

Alex salutes you with a fist to his chest-plate before giving you a formal bow. “Your Majesty.” His tone is gruff and in a way, he reminds you of your senior general.

“Next,” Resia moves on to the slight man with the devastating smile, “Is Rafail Tantalos. He is one of the most skilled Riders in the United Armies, in fact, his wing brought down ten drakes at the start of the war.”

Again, Rafail dazzles you his smile before dropping gracefully to a knee and gently capturing your hand in his, lightly places a kiss on your knuckle. “My Queen, I am yours to command.” You couldn’t help but blush hotly at the sound of his tender voice.

“And lastly,” Resia continues as she rests her arm possessively on the blond man's shoulders, “Is Ceno, who I believe you have already met.”

When you hear his name, your eyes widen and a chill runs down your spine, “Ceno!?” Standing by Resia you kick yourself for not noticing the family resemblance sooner.

Ceno gives you a soft smile, “Hey, Xira. It’s been a while.”

And you were hoping it would be a while longer. Ceno was another childhood friend that played with you and Thea back when your mother was **** to leave you behind in Deni for a full two years. You had been only fourteen at the time, and it was your first time off the island and into the world of men. Your mother had originally gone to the now growing port town to secure a trade deal with Deni and had brought you along to expose you to court and political life. However, during your stay, word reached the gold-robed slavers of Athenapolis that the beautiful queen of the Amazons and her slender daughter, just beginning to blossom into maidenhood, were located in a poorly defended trading village and sent a fleet to try to capture you. Although your mother was eager to immerse you into the boredom of politics, she not so eager to expose you to the brutality of battle or the possibility of capture by the slavers. Reluctantly she left you in the care of Resia while she sailed off to meet the mercenary fleet in open waters.

You and Thea did your best to avoid the boys in the town but one boy was all but unavoidable. Ceno was Resia’s son and therefore you had to live in the same house with him. It took him a little while to convince you and Thea to spend time with him but eventually, his persistence paid off. You spent most of your time in the nearby woodlands, climbing trees and swimming in the pool beneath an energetic waterfall. It was the first time you and Thea saw a boy without his shirt and neither of you couldn’t help but blush at the sight of how handsome he was. It did not help that with the onset of puberty the Amazon curse amplified the already over active teenage libido; back on Accor you would have been surrounded by other women, but in Deni there was the constant temptation of men everywhere you went.

Near the end of your second year, you received word that your mother had finally driven off the mercenaries and was returning to pick you up. Although you were excited to go back to Accor you also knew that this would probably be the last time you saw Ceno. By now you and Thea had become incredibly close to him so the three of you decided to spend one last night alone together.

You and your best friend slipped into the young man's chambers after the last of the servants retired for the night. Even today, you are not sure what you thought might happen, but at the time the clandestine encounter escalated into something that you both regretted and secretly enjoyed. You are not quite sure how it happened, but one moment the three of you were sharing tearful goodbyes and exchanging timid kisses, and the next you and Thea were on your knees giving him a joint blow job as he gasped in disbelief and pleasure.

When the vivid memory of young Ceno's throbbing cock spewing white chains of semen over you and Thea hits, you blush fiercely and look away. Ceno must be remembering the same wild encounter as he cannot meet your gaze either.

Ceno’s mother might not notice her son's discomfort but she doesn't miss your brightly colored cheeks. “Still as shy and innocent as I remember,” she announces to the curious bystanders with a wide smile on her lips, “One look at these cute boys and she’s all a fluster.”

It is then that you suddenly remember your earlier altercation with Laoda. Still as red as a boiled crab, you just barely manage to stammer out, “Um…Resia…w-why have you b-brought these m-men before me?”

“Oh, silly me,” the blonde-haired barbarian chuckles wickedly, “I was so excited to see you, I completely forgot why I came to you in the first place. Xira,” she pauses, deliberately stretching out the moment, “these young men have come to court you.”
