Sauve Assistance

You crank on as much charm as you can manage without falling over and then casually reach up and lift the satchel from the bulkhead. There is a moment where surprise almost shatters your appearance of debonair, the satchel itself is rather heavy, but you manage to flex your muscles and maintain composure.

You lift the strap over your shoulder and gesture towards the front of the shuttle. "After you m'lady," you say in your best polite voice. Jessika giggles and squeezes your arm lightly. "Such a big strong man," she says before sauntering ahead of you.

Outside the airlock a flight director is guiding people into the waiting terminal and explaining the necessary delays before new arrivals may enter the main terminals. You come to a halt against the wall and vaguely notice a mounted map nearby. A ways down the hall you spot the retreating curves of the mechanical tech. You sigh a little before Jessika gathers your attention with a playful wave of her hands.

"Hey, shining knight, care to assist your maiden in cleaning herself up a bit?" Your brain slowly ticks through the sentence and manages to translate most of it before you mutter some verbal static. You then realize you are being propositioned, in an implied sort of way.

You are certainly happy about the idea, but exhaustion still presses in on your mind. Your first choice on Zero Point has come about.
