...Sarah's submissiveness

Sarah is greatly intimidated by her neighbours, but learnt to enjoy their presence. From two years Jessica and Patrick go in her home as they please like it was theirs. Usually, they are dining with Sarah's family without previous notice, so Sarah is always cooking for five at dinner. Jack and Joe greatly enjoy Jessica presence, whereas Patrick enjoys Sarah's, commenting on her dressing. Since they are not leaving anymore, Sarah does everything to earn their praise. She workouts as Jessica reccomends, and slowly dismissed the clothes Patrick dislikes. However, Jessica and Patrick give good advices. As result, Sarah is fittier and nicer than ever, and Jack is very happy of her changes. Even her female collegues appreciated the slow but steady improvement of her already beautiful looks, although it could provoke some male students. Sarah thinks that in the end, Jessica's need to be admired and Patrick's enjoyment of her look are two manageable downside of the overall pleasable friendship. Sarah greatly estimates Jessica's and Patrick's opinions, and their praise makes her feel good and accepted.

Today Sarah talks a lot with Jessica and follows all her fitness suggestion treating her like a fitness guru, and is very happy to bring some snacks to Patrick in a nice dress while he's playing with Joe, so to gain some eventual compliments from him. She understood that Patrick likes dresses, heels and bright colours, so she usually dresses in this way. Patrick also likes when she goes to the hairdresser, so she weekly does as Jessica suggest. Jessica has lot of good ideas about hairdressing, and Patrick is always happy with them. She is still intimidated by Patrick though, as he is usually staring to every inch of her skin with a satisfacted grin. "Sometimes I just feel like I am an ornamental object for him, like a statue or a pet. Maybe it's this dress he likes? Oh, come on Sarah. He is just a kid and likes women. It is a compliment for you after all. Don't be a silly girl, you're a woman, behave as such." Sarah doesn't want to admit to herself that somehow Patrick makes her feel more submissive and in need of his approval, like a little girl wanting to be accepted by a friend rather than an adult older than his mother.
