Chapter 2
by Fennmont
Choose your character.
Samantha Lewis / Female / Physical Age: 20
You awake to the familiar blaring of sirens and shaking of your pod. Suspended hundreds of feet above the ground floor, you are surrounded by thousands of similar pods. Your friends, family, loved ones, everyone you know lay behind the ice coated windows, shivering from the freezing temperatures within.
It takes an hour before you finally reach the ground and are released. Along with you is your mother, Alicia Lewis, and five of your close friends and fellow revolutionaries. Giving a nod to them, you approach.
"Hey." You greet the group.
"Sam." It was your mother. Alicia hugs you tightly, wrapping her arms around you as if she was never going to let go again.
Physically your mother is twenty-six. But chronologically, she would be several decades old. You were one of the lucky few who returned to the pods after coming of age, and even more so that you were even able to contact your mother. Most never return from the white room, the place where all humans are now raised in seclusion. Their only contact is their patron who delivered food on a daily basis, and even then, they never talked. Just watched as you ate your meal in silence. We call these people the Indoctrinated. Humans who no longer have a mind of their own and obey the Mind without question. This is the fate of the children that do not make it back to the pods.
Like you, your mother has long blonde hair that falls along her back. She has two blue eyes, olive skin, and a lovely figure. Over the years, she has been the one most men go after, simply because of her looks and voluptuous body. And since you are her daughter, you too are widely sought after because of your similar looks and busty figures.
The other five: Will, Cody, Rebecca, Star, and Seven. Of course, these aren't your real names. At birth you were issued numbers to be associated with. But over time, you all decided that you would give each other a befitting name.
Will is tall and handsome, with short dirty blonde hair and brown eyes, and a well-toned figure, he is the muscle of the group. But not only does he have brawn, he has brain. Definitely one of the smarter members of the group, second only to Seven.
Unlike Will, Cody is on the shorter side of things. He has dark short hair, blue eyes, and shows a little muscle. His special talent is engineering. Sometime during his time alone, he managed to sneak out from the white room and took out one of the robots with his bare hands. Afterward he memorized the insides of the machines and was able to grasp a simple understanding of their architecture. Which, in turn, he told you.
Rebecca is chronologically twenty-one. She has medium length cascading brown hair, green eyes, and a figure similar to you and Alicia, though her breasts are smaller. She is the one you feel closest to, and thus making her your best friend.
Star is, well, Star. She is the shortest in the group by a foot. (Star is 4'7") She's very bright and cheerful, despite the on-going situation. Star has short red hair spun around in a bun, green, gleaming eyes, and an almost washboard size chest. The only thing remotely feminine about her is her filled out rear, clearly where all that missing fat ended up.
Finally there is Seven. She is the brain of the group, the one that brought all you together, and the one who came up with the plan. She resonates an aura that just says, "Don't mess with me." You are sure her confidence is what leads her to always ditching the procreation process. No one picks her as a mate. Seven is about your height with long, dark hair, piercing blue eyes, and curves that made even you jealous.
Looking at them, you can't help but feel excited at the oncoming change. It's going to be different. No longer would you be some mindless doll on her knees taking some unknown man. In a short while you will be as free as a bird.
"Humans!" The mechanized, monotone voice of one of the security drones calls to you. Your group freeze in place, looking at the robot in fear. Had you already been discovered? No. It couldn't be. "Join the line." It finally says, pointing toward the other humans who were already forming into rows.
Join the line?
