Chapter 7
by SingingLark
Sounds pretty straightforward. Should she?
SakamataTheSexy
Everything goes dark as soon as the elf says the words, only to return a few moments later. Emi appears again, the glyphs circling her unmentionables somehow different, perhaps showing different words, but still otherwise naked. Her voice, on the other hand, sounded far different.
"Thank you for that, Lady Ellaya. While I dont usually begrudge Private Sakamata´s antics, it can be rather troublesome while meeting people who arent 'in the known'" She still leant forward every now and then, giving a glimpse of her curves beneath the circling runes, but she did seem more... composed. Not respectful, perhaps, but coherent. If that even made sense.
"What happened to Private Sakamata? And the others?" Ultimately the whereabouts of the missing Space Men far outweighed anything else that happened there.
"Corporal Thomson, Sergeant Kyle and Private Sakamata were all grievously wounded during the Attack. Wait for it" She flickered a few times, as her image turned from Ellaya. She swayed her ass a bit as she simulated looking for something on an invisible wall. "Emergency protocol inoperative. Distress signal was not fired. Lady Ellaya was the antenna outside intact?"
"What is an Antenna?" the elf asked, obviously this spirit didnt meant an insect part.
"... Nevermind, I will run a full diagnosis check" More lights flickered, as the small woman appeared on different poses, always analyzing or working with something invisible. Ellaya tried to be patient, but the spirit started to take a while...
A handle moved across the tiny 'room'. It had the same metallic look and feel that so much of the space men paraphernalia had. Ellaya stood and crossed the room, and reached down to pick it up, only to be surprised by a sudden flash behind her. She instinctively grabbed the handle, and maybe she touched something that triggered its magic, but a blade of solidified light sprung from it; it touched the celling and not only pierced it, but caused a star shower to fall!
'Vrrrr' The blade sang as it moved with preternatural speed, and made another deep cut, this time on the wall. This time the noblewoman did NOT find the momentum, and instead tried to just shift her own balance to control the wild swing, swirled with it at an angle dangerously close to her own body, and finished a spin with a pose. Ellaya sighted, so thankful for all the blade dancing lessons she had since her youth.
"STOP" Emi screamed perhaps for the third time. "Just press the button!" Ellaya gingerly touched the sensitive control, and the vibrantly green blade vanished, as if it was never there. "Lady Ellaya, I dont know where my crew is. My recordings were erased when you rebooted my system without saving the files first. My communication system is down, my armory is also missing, and it will be another 14 hours before the next check point, and who knows how long before they actually find us. This does NOT appear like the route I had planned. I am sorry, we just met, but it is extremely important that you help me!"
Ellaya feels her dress, that had endured all her running so far without much damage, just fall to pieces, as if cut in a dozen places.
Well, is she going to help the Space Men?
