"I bought them 5 coppers at the townhall, the thief won't need them rotting in her cage. Those are fine clothes better than I ever had. " he replies, oblivious to how ridiculous he looks in them. I decide to be conciliatory at first.

"How about I buy them from you 2 silvers then? That's four times what you paid for them. What do you say?" I ask him, even getting to the two coins out to show that I'm serious.

"No, it ain't worth it and they ain't for sale. I don't have any else to wear, sold my old rags for a pint of ale. Have a good day sir!" he replies, so much for the easy way.

"Give me my clothes, you dirty bum! You're stinky and stretching them out! " shouts Gilian from behind me, only wearing one of my spare shirts. So much for discretion.

"Fuck, it's the thief. She got out! Wait you're with her? I have to warn the village! " he screams before trying to run away as fast as his borrowed boots permit him. I already got out a card with a raised hand drawn on it. Channeling my power as telekinesis I stop him in his flight by grabbing his neck.

"Now that is simple, you will either remove the clothes and give them back to their owner or I'll have to remove them off your dead body. " I explain to him.

I can't start my travel chased by fucking paladins.

I have to make a choice. I have to get the clothes back to appease Gilian. The easiest way is the most simple approach, I'll just kill the fucker and get them back. (CHOICE A) {if companion viviane = 1} Viviane will hate it and I don't know how she'll react.

Or I could try a last way to get the clothes another way to please her, even with the risk the man could represent. {endif}
The bloodless way is harder and in the end costly and risky but it remains an option. (CHOICE B)
