Ryu's side

Ryu followed the guard through the door and into a long room.

Five Tables lined up at his left whereas five changing booths separated by wooden dividers as high as his armpit were on his right.

As for doors, aside from the one he used to walk in there, there was one on the other side of the room and another at the end of the line of tables.

With a quick look Ryu could see items and clothes on a few of the lined tables whereas, partly hidden by the corresponding booth, men were being inspected by... women? No, wait, where those men naked?

For a second Ryu wondered if, in this new world, genders were switched. If it wasn't so, why were the men being checked by women? But if it wasn't and the higher ups here let people be checked by the opposite gender... he got worried about the girls. Were they about to be touched all over by some ugly old bastard?

A mix of jealousy, rage and unwillingness sparked in his heart, but there was nothing he could really do about it now. Instead, he noticed the merchant from before stripping down to his undies... no, he took those off too before moving over to his booth.

Would he have to do that too? Ryu didn't need such doubts, because a guard came up to him and said "Go over there and leave all your things on the table. Everything, you hear me? Then move over to the booth and face me"

The woman wasn't a beauty, but also wasn't ugly. She wasn't young, but also wasn't old. Would he have to strip down and stand in front of her? The embarrassment made his face flush red, though he still moved on to the table after remembering the merchant's words about not making a fuss if he didn't want to be locked up as a spy.

There wasn't much to leave on the table, Ryu literally having nothing but the clothes on his back... no smartphone, no wallet, nothing. Just what the hell was he doing before getting isekaied? He didn't know, but at least it seemed like his clothes, as strange as they were in this context, weren't weird enough for the woman to deem him a spy.

Instead, she was interested in the hard rod standing upright under his stomach's flabs of fat.

She seemed impressed, but then she smirked "What are you getting all hard for? Or what, is this the first time a woman looks at your willy, so you want to make it count?"

He had no words to counter her with, instead lowering his head while burning red in shame... not that she let him do so for long "What are you looking down for? Now, look straight at me!" and when he did, she pointed a square crystal at him.

He could swear he almost heard a 'zap' when he did, soon followed by another one "Good, we got the face and body. Turn now, i need your profile" He didn't need to be a genius to know she was taking pics of him, but as embarrassing as it was he had to follow her instruction and let her take pictures of his profile and then his back. As for what come after... albeit embarrassing, he still leaned forward, half-bending as he placed his hands against the wall.

He could understand the need to strip down as it could be easily better than a pat down to find out dangerous or compromising items, but bending over? The finger she stuck up his ass answered his question.

He lost his voice when she did, but she sure wasn't very pleased about it too as she mumbled "Damn, why do we have to check those dirty asses too..."

She poked around a few times, then took out her fingers with a disgusted expression and said he was free to go before moving away, obviously intent on washing her hands.
