Run

"Look, I'm sorry," you tell the man, "but I don't know how to help you. There's nothing I can do, and I'd rather not be here when... well, you know. I just can't be here."

The man's face goes expressionless and he just freezes in place - he's taking it better than you'd expected - and you decide that it'd be best to book it while you still can. You turn away from him and start to walk away, but you're stopped when you feel his hand grasping your wrist. You turn to him, confused, and he looks back with a face full of fury.

"Oh no! You think you can just leave me here? Not a freakin' chance! If I've got to go through with this, there no way in hell that I'm doing it alone!"

You try to pull away, but the man is probably stronger than you are even on an off day, and with his anger and determination fueling him, there's no way you could hope to escape. He starts to laugh at you, and it becomes quite painfully clear that he's losing his mind, not to the latex but to insanity brought on by his ludicrous fate. You try punching him, kicking him, and at one point you do manage to knock him to his knees, but still, he holds on tight. Pretty soon, the latex is beginning to roll down his arm, and after an excruciating wait, it reaches his wrist. As it envelops his hand, combining his fingers into two shiny, solid black digits and leaving his thumb as a third, he starts to lose his grip, his new hand no longer as dexterous as his human one had been. As his "fingers" slip, you take your chance and try once again to pull away.

"NO!" he screams, the rubber climbing over his face, his half-formed and incomplete deer muzzle and sloppy, elongated ears forming a grotesque image as it tries to shape him into the image it intends him to take. You finally slip out of his grasp, and as you do his screams start to sound less human and more bestial, his muzzle taking its final form and the rest of his face looking far more like a deer's than like a man's. When it's all over, he collapses to his knees, a strange rubber hybrid of deer and man, with his human clothing being the only visible part of his old self. Clearly exhausted whether by the change or by the struggle with you, he falls over sideways, hitting the ground with a soft thud before losing consciousness.
