Run for the door.

She struggles to resist.

"Why do I want to stay so badly?" she asks herself within her thoughts. "Am I... No. I need to focus. They're nothing special."

With rosy cheeks, she shakes her head, and makes a dash around the bed to the black door. She can't help but continue picturing the imagine of them in her mind, but with a twist and pull, she yanks open the door and runs straight through to the next area of the dungeon.

The next room has only one exit, and it's a regular brown door. However, instead of a trap, there's a clear monster standing ready directly in front of her.

It's a shorter girl. She has a small chest, slim body, but wears an outfit more akin to a bikini than actual clothing. The outfit is black and almost looks sharp, and her hair is neck-length and the same colour. Coming from her back is a series of tendrils, each ending with an eyeball, and upon closer inspection, the teeth in her mouth are pointed at the tips.

"Hi there," the monster says with a snicker.

"Out of my way, puny!" Tavia yells. "I'll cut you in two."

"You can try. And I'm not that puny."

"You're short, and your breasts are tiny. Of course you're puny. Now whatever you are, move aside. Last warning."

The monster raises up her arms, and her tendril-like eye-stocks follow behind. Each one stares at her and blinks. She does nothing but wait, as if mocking her, and she even has no weapon to be seen. Tavia growls and leaps into action, trying to cut right through her to get to the door on the other side.

Suddenly, a laser fires from all of her eyes.

They don't turn her into swiss cheese, but they do stop her immediately in her tracks. Tavia freezes up. Still in a mid-swing position, she's unable to move any part of her body, and to make matters stranger, she's barely touching the ground. It's almost as if she's trapped in magic stasis. However, she's still able to sense, as she can see the monster coming towards her.

"I'm Beholdie," she says with a giggle.

Beholder reaches up and kisses Tavia on the cheek. Then, she retreats back to the far door and waits.

Exactly ten seconds pass before the stasis breaks. Tavia lands her leap, swings, but the monster is far from being in the same place as before. And from the kiss, she appears furious. Red comes to her cheeks as she widens her eyes in disgust.

"Is everything in this dungeon just trying to mess with me?" Tavia shouts.

"I would ne~ever to that," Beholdie replies with a wink.

Angry, Tavia moves to swing again, but the eyes fire once more. She freezes in place just like before.

"You can't move for ten seconds after I zap you," the monster explains. "All I'm here to do is stop you from getting through the door. I don't care what happens after that, and I don't want to kill you. No, no. But we can play until my mistress shows up, and then you'll be trapped forever."

The spell breaks and Tavia misses her attack.
