Run away from home

Mia decides that none of her small village’s suitors were what she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. She leaves her home in the dead of night, to flee the life that was destined for her and to create her own fate.

Mia takes with her a small knife, to protect herself from bandits and the various creatures of the night that she may encounter. She also takes enough food to last her a week, more than enough to get her to the next village where hopefully she could either find employment or patronage to put even more distance between her and those who would seek to exploit her youth and beauty for their own gain.
